Community engagement · stakeholder management

Keep the neighbourhood with you, from first plan to last day on site.

HelloStreet is the AI-native community engagement platform for building projects that change a place: housing, offices and schools, public works, roads, rail and energy. Reach every address involved, answer questions in one inbox, and let AI tell you what is going on in the neighbourhood before it becomes an objection.

For everyone who builds, permits or runs a site

From the first plans and the public consultation to the last day on site: HelloStreet is made for projects that change a street, a neighbourhood or a route.

  • Neighbours look through the viewing window in the site hoarding.

    Property developers

Housing and mixed-use projects, from the first site scan to the first buyer from the neighbourhood.

  • A site manager photographs the progress for the weekly update.

    Contractors

Construction sites in busy streets: announcing nuisance, handling reports and keeping track of what was agreed.

  • A renewed town square on market day.

    Cities and municipalities

Public works, street redesigns and other projects where residents, shops and schools all need to know what is coming.

  • Tram works with a safe pedestrian route along the shops.

    Infrastructure

Roads, railways, bridges, cycle highways and pipelines: long routes through several municipalities.

  • Residents on a visit at the foot of a wind turbine.

    Energy

Wind farms, solar parks, cables and heat networks: projects with broad support, and neighbours with very concrete questions.

Also for those who affect the neighbourhood every day, or a few days a year

A plan still being drawn, a three-day festival, a plant that has been there for thirty years, a hospital that stays open while it builds. A different rhythm, the same question: what is going on in the neighbourhood, and what do we do about it?

  • A participation workshop around a large site plan.

    Spatial plans

Zoning plans, area visions and masterplans, where people respond to a future that is not yet drawn.

  • Residents and a steward at the entrance of a festival in a city park, at dusk.

    Events and festivals

Short and intense: inform the neighbourhood before, take reports during and show what you improved after.

  • A community manager talks to neighbours at the fence of a food-processing plant.

    Industrial sites

An ongoing relationship with the neighbours: following up noise, odour and traffic, and incident management when something goes wrong.

  • A new hospital wing under construction next to a residential street, with a safe passage for ambulances.

    Campuses and hospitals

Universities, colleges and hospitals that keep growing in the middle of a neighbourhood.

Who do you reach within 250 metres?

Move the radius and see how many addresses are in the zone, and which school, application or works you must not forget. That is how every neighbourhood scan starts. This is a fictional neighbourhood; we make your real scan for your project.

Not just disruption. Progress people look forward to.

Neighbours usually hear about a project when something goes wrong. With HelloStreet you also share the good moments: progress photos, then and now, and milestones worth watching. People who see progress are more patient with the works.

Ask the assistant AI

This is how the assistant answers on the project page: only from documents your team approved. The resident gets an answer; your team sees which source it is based on. Anything it should not answer goes to a person. Pick a question.

Hof ter LindenAI
How many parking spaces will there be?
There will be 41 underground spaces for 34 homes, and 8 visitor spaces on site. The driveway is on Lindenlaan.

Everything you expect, and much more

Today it is often done by hand: spreadsheets, emails and flyers. Or with a resident app, a participation platform and a stakeholder CRM side by side. HelloStreet brings it together, and does what none of them do: a letter for every address in the zone, draft replies for your team and a neighbourhood scan on open data.

Questions and answers

Do residents need to install an app?

No. Everything works in the browser, through the QR code on the letter or a link. Residents who want push notifications use the HelloStreet app for iOS and Android, or your own branded app.

What is community engagement software?

Software that helps an organisation inform and involve the people around its project or site: neighbours, shops, schools, associations and the local press. From the first letter before the planning application to the last day on site.

Does it help with a Statement of Community Involvement or a participation report?

Yes. Everything you do, every letter, meeting, question and answer, is kept in one log. HelloStreet turns it into the report your planning authority asks for, with every statement linked to its source.

Can we have our own app?

Yes. On the Organisation and Enterprise plans your app carries your name and branding in the App Store and Google Play, with all your projects in it. We handle the builds and updates.

How do you handle personal data?

Data is stored in the EU. Residents choose what they share and can unsubscribe at any time. Nothing is used for sales or marketing without explicit consent.

Does it replace our website or CRM?

No. HelloStreet works next to them. Link project pages from your own site and export contacts and cases whenever you need them.

Where does the AI get its information?

From your own approved documents, connected project tools and the conversations in HelloStreet. For local signals it uses public sources and posts you bring in yourself. Your team sees which source every insight and answer is based on.

Do we then have to respond to every question from the neighbourhood?

No. You decide how far you go. Questions that keep coming back are answered once, for everyone, on the project page. The rest arrives in one inbox, with a draft reply your team checks. You do not need to staff a chat line.

Does the AI answer residents without a check?

Only from sources you approved, and only on topics you allow. Anything sensitive or uncertain goes to your team first.

Do you monitor individuals on social media?

No. HelloStreet tracks themes, not people. It reads public sources and content you add, aggregates it and removes personal details.
